These activities include an early years nursery for 2, 3 and 4 year olds, rated as "Good" by Ofsted. The day to day work with local children in the nursery is to help them grow as individuals and be ready for primary school. To give more support to families we have a Community Food Shop, to give people high quality, affordable food within easy reach.
In addition to these we also have HUB, adult day care, physical and social activities for all ages and future employment training for individuals and groups. These activities include Brownies, martial arts, boxing training, social bingo and much more. The day to day work with families and individuals gives them guidance, opportunities and support in their day to day lives.

Services
The Centre was originally built in 1997 and was managed by Wigan Council. In 2007 it was leased to a group of local residents who formed themselves into a Registered Charity and Limited Company.
The Charity was established to provide benefit for the residents of Higher Folds in Leigh, without distinction of, sex, or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and the local inhabitants in the following manner to advance education for the public benefit to relieve sickness and preserve and protect good health of persons resident in the area of benefit: the advancement of education and training of young people and adults.

Hello and welcome to our Ofsted rated "Good" Nursery for children aged 2, 3 or 4 years old. We are a private day nursery in Leigh, established in 2014, with a very good reputation for giving your children excellent learning in a caring, exciting and loving environment. The Nursery is open Monday to Friday, during school term time, from 9am to 3.30pm each day.
