Patients of Padiham Medical Centre can take advantage of 'Patient Access' - an award winning service provided by around 1 in 4 GP practices in the UK. It has been developed by and is provided by 'Patient' - one of the most trusted medical resources online, who also supply evidence based information on a wide range of medical and health topics to patients and health professionals.
There are many ways to make an appointment to see a Doctor or Nurse at the surgery. The most convenient way to do this is online, using 'Patient Access' through our website, however, appointments can also be made by telephoning the surgery on 01282 731333. You can now book an appointment to see a doctor via this website - following a simple registration procedure for the 'Patient Access' system.
Home visits are at the discretion of your Doctor. Please do not ask your Doctor to see you at home unless you are genuinely too ill to come to the surgery. Requests for a home visit can be made by telephoning 01282 731333 before 10.30am whenever possible and giving the Receptionist as much information as you can.
The antenatal clinic is led by the midwife and the doctor is available for consultation when necessary. Care is usually shared with the hospital. Run by the nurse for any child or adult with asthma. In addition to regular check-ups and dealing with problems as they arise we also instruct on proper use of inhalers and other devices.
