We have been advised via local pharmacies that there are supply or manufacturing issues on a number of medicines. This situation is beyond our control and is likely to result in some disruption to patients but we are working to keep this to a minimum. The practice is trialling extended hours and will be offering some appointments between 7am and 8am.

These can be booked in the usual way. This practice holds medical records containing data which is strictly confidential. This has been designed to update existing data protection legislation. Pity you can't give them a zero.
Worst medical centre by far. My medical centre at Bacup are 5 star, will see patients, been going there throughout this pandemic and about to get my flu jab there.
On the other hand this joke of a medical centre will not even give an appointment out for the flu jab in fact still waiting for last year's appointment. Apparently they are struggling to get it, a tale I fail to believe.
Within 30 seconds booked it at boots in Burnley instead.
Terrible medical centre

I've always been very happy with the doctors and the reception staff here and appreciate how hard it must be to operate with increased demand during the pandemic

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL RECEPTIONISTS. THEY WILL THREATEN TO THROW YOU OUT IF YOU ASK FOR A PRESCRIPTION.

Rarely take time to give feedback but felt it necessary to praise and recognise the support and service I have received over last 10 months. Dr Gladwinfield is outstanding and I can’t thank her enough for what she has done.

Most of the doctors seem competent, however I can’t say the same for the front of house/receptionists

Rang St James several times on Tue, again several times on Wed constantly engaged. Rang 111 on Thursday couldn't get through after 1hr. Rang 111 Fri at 8 am got through after 40 mins. 111 suggested I would receive a call within 6 hrs. Call received 5 hrs on referring me to am SMS message sent at 11 am. Was about to go to Walk in centre. St James's requested a photo to protect, patients, staff and.... Photo sent. Apparently corrupted. Asked if we could try again. Told them not to bother. Painful having to deal with this practice.

Appointment booking scenario of EVERYONE trying to call at 0800 and the - lines constantly engaged is utterly chaotic and ridiculous. Any conversations outsude that tiny window with "many" reception staff feels like they actively want to obstruct you
