Here at Knotts Yard Veterinary Practice in Watton we like to get male and female kittens and puppies neutered as soon as possible to prevent unwanted pets. Our local dog and cat re-homing and care centres are full to bursting and having your animal neutered will help stop unwanted puppies and kittens.
When puppies and kittens are born they are usually protected from infections by their mother's milk, providing she has been regularly vaccinated. However, this protection only lasts a few weeks so they need regular vaccinations from an early age. Puppies are typically vaccinated at eight and 12 weeks, kittens at nine and 12 weeks, with an initial course of injections.

Marcus and his team are amazing, we have used knotts yard since having our dog. He is a very nervous dog and doesn't do well with vets visits. Marcus and his team always take fantastic care of him and have recently helped guide me through some hard times with his anxiety. They are always on hand for help and advise and truly give the best care. even if we were to move from the area, i personally would travel hours to bring my dog to marcus.

I have been with this practice since moving to the area 2 years ago and have been happy up until now, especially when I noticed that they don’t carry out any procedures or treatment unnecessarily.
They diagnosed my cat with lymphoma 4 weeks ago and said to bring her in to be PTS when Shea do we were ready. So last Monday I did just that, phoned up to confirm that I could be with my cat during the procedure & on Tuesday booked her in for 10:45 today (Wed). Wednesday morning at 8:30 they called to say that there was a mistake & that I couldn’t be with her, I can buy a drink in the pub, visit

The best vets i have ever been too. The staff are lovely and friendly. Not the cheapest in the area but i dont mind paying extra to know that all aspects of my pets care is being met and the extra costs arent exactly extortionate. Highly recommend this vet from the vets to the receptionists, everyone of them are diamonds and are the go to for our animals needs.

Though they are an excellent vets and with the the horses and dogs we're brilliant I needed to get to pick up my medication for one of our dogs and as only as cess to car on a weekend after sat morning at 10 0am I was told that med had to be picked up by 11 0am why did I not phone earlier you are saying because I have often picked it up just before 12 on sat so maybe vet could have said if you come now you can have the med. It only takes a few minutes to pick it up hand it out the door I would have prepaid for it so maybe a bit more flexible as they close at 12 I think by 11 is a little early

I have been a registered customer at this vets for some years. Until recently, my experiences with the practice has been without complaint. I would say the prices are on the high side but I've always felt the quality of care offered to the animals has justified this.
Very recently I had a poor experience with a recent consultation for my Dog and felt very unhappy with the way I was treated and the way in which the matter was handled by the front line staff.
However the boss of the practice Marcus Wilson stepped in and went out of his way to contact me regarding the matter and has expressed his
