She's got a CertAVP which basically means she's super smart and your pet is in the best possible hands. She juggles running this practice, stopping Carly spending large sums on sparkly vet wrap and 36km of paper towel, with a toddler and an Ian to look after. On top of that she runs and defies gravity pole vaulting.

From a routine nail clip, to a full surgical consultation, our highly trained veterinary team are here to work with you to provide the best care for your pet. We have free onsite parking leading to our facilities which have been built with your pet's comfort and care in mind. All consults with our experienced vets are a minimum of 20 minutes, so you won't be rushed.
We don't believe in selling you a monthly subscription for services and products you may or may not use, but we understand monthly payments for regular products can be convenient and help with budgeting. Therefore we offer "vets deliver" a monthly direct debit that covers all your flea and worm treatments, delivered to your door every 3 months, meaning that you are never paying for products that you're not receiving.
The easy way to communicate with our fantastic team at a time that is convenient for you via PetsApp. At Bury St Edmunds Veterinary Centre, we believe in making your life easier. We understand it's not always convenient to phone, that is why alongside offering online appointment booking, registration and repeat medication requests we now offer PetsApp.
We have put together a few helpful resources to help provide quick access to advice and support. Remember we are here for you 24/7, so if in doubt always get in touch and our friendly team will be able to assist further.

We promote a stress free environment as much as possible for all visitors, from those waiting for a consult to sick patients staying in our hospitalisation wards. While we try to keep waiting time to a minimum, the practice has been designed to make this time as stressfree as possible.

Had a last minute emergency and needed an Animal Health Certificate. Just when noone could help one of the vets (on mat leave!) happened to walk in and agreed to a complex doc within the hour (3pm) to be completed by 5pm. Absolutely saved our bacon, way over and above the call of duty. Cannot rate these guys highly enough - THANKYOU FROM BECS AND GIA ♥️

Sadly on a Sunday night our 11 year old cat was very poorly, I struggled to find a vet that would see us as an emergency, the on call vet at Bury St Edmunds vets came out and opened the surgery for us. Sadly Biscuit was too poorly to be saved and had to be put to sleep. It was a very upsetting moment for both myself and my son whose cat he was. The lady vet was amazing, very patient, sincere and professional. It made Biscuits passing all the bearable... thank you xx

Staff here are always lovely. Took my hamster for a check up with Matt and he was very knowledgeable and friendly, knew a lot about hamsters which was great as I find other vets elsewhere don't really offer much advice when it comes to smaller animals. Best vet centre in Bury st edmunds by far 👏🏻 (Also previously bought our bearded dragon here to see Simon and had a very positive experience yet again, very knowledgeable and helpful). They also don't overcharge you here and costs are quite reasonable.

I was on holiday in Suffolk when my dog wouldn't stop itching his eye. I phoned 6 vets in Ipswich and none would see him. Then I called Bury St Edmunds Veterinary Centre. They fit me in that very morning, transferring across my records from my normal vet. The vet found a grass seed in my dog's eye and managed to remove it. They were so professional, gave brilliant care and I am so truly grateful. I'm sad that they are too far away to be my normal vet! I could not recommend them more.

Where do I start.. what an amazing vets! I can't thank these people enough honestly. I'm sat here in tears writing this, they are amazing. My dog had to have an emergency c section, which they were quick and so responsive to! So understanding and helpful. I then came to pick me dog up and ended up having a seizure. The staff were so amazing 👏. So they dealt with my dog and me all in one day. Honestly can't thank you guys enough. ❤❤
