We have three branches in East Anglia: two in Suffolk and one in Norfolk. Each practice is equipped to a high standard, offering consultations throughout the day and with the facilities for operations, hospitalisation, and diagnostic procedures. Their close proximity to each other ensures that we can offer a wide range of skills and services via internal referral.

For most people and pets the main reason for coming to the vets is to have a consultation. At Eastgate Veterinary Group we provide consultations with a veterinary surgeon when it is convenient for you. We aim for you to be seen within ten minutes of your appointment time, however, we are sure you will understand that emergencies must be prioritised.
Our trained veterinary nurses offer consultations for a wide range of minor procedures and free advice on fleas and worm treatment, on basic aspects of pet care and on feeding your pet. These consultations provide you with convenient expert advice to help you care for your pet's health and wellbeing.
Our clinics have modern facilities and equipment to provide comprehensive surgical treatment of your pet whenever it is needed. Operations are performed in our surgical suites where we have sterile facilities and up-to-date anaesthetic equipment. Routine surgery is carried out on weekdays by teams of vets and nurses and animals are usually admitted at the beginning of the day.

Very pleased with Eastgate vets - very friendly and helpful and genuinely interested and kind and engaging with the pets . Unlike the vets I was previously with who sadly seemed only interested in getting you in and out and settling the bill. I have been with Eastgate vets in the past and have always had good service and never a problem getting an appointment. Only downside is the car park is rather small .

I have been taking my animals to Eastgate for the last 26 years. They are always friendly, polite and professional. This includes the receptionists, the nurses and the vets themselves. I have never had any problems. Now that Covid has struck, I have been twice and both times the vets came out to the car to speak to me and to pick up the cat and take her inside for treatment and examination. They then came back out and thoroughly explained what was wrong and what to look out for. I would recommend Eastgate to anyone I know who has a pet. They are fantastic! Thank you so much to all of them who do

Positive: Professionalism
Paula in the Office was exceptional in her efficiency, obtaining the test results and meds for my cat before I went away.
Georgie and Nicky were both very professional, explaining my cats problems so I would understand, being gentle with her (she’s 18yrs) and being friendly. Thank you.

We have been using the Eastgae vets in Bury St Edmunds for many years and have always been impressed with the service we receive. The vets are friendly and helpful and deliver a high standard of care to the animals. The staff are all friendly and professional and we have always been treated well.
