Dine within the Moku on the first floor or enjoy the unique experience of the Chef's table room.
Services
The Tokimeite menus change regularly with the seasons. Here we present a representative selection of sample dishes, including our signature wagyu and sushi offering, traditional and seasonal starters and desserts, and our bento lunch menu. Fresh curly kale and mix leaf salad tossed with goji berry, pumpkin seeds, edamame and baby beetroots.

One of the best sushi in town, the fresh eel is definitely the N1 you can find in UK, I would definitely recommend it.

The best and most fun Japanese restaurant I’ve dined in for the past 20 years! Paolo (grill) and Jacky (sashimi and sushi) are amazing chefs and super fun to chat with if you sit at the counter. Enjoy!

Food was excellent - we had sashimi, wagyu, miso seabass and some drinks. Sashimi was fresh, we ordered yellowfin toro and kingfish and the chef made sure he gave us the best cuts. Wagyu was high quality with a decent portion. Miso seabass was soft and juicy, the fat melted in your mouth and it was cooked to perfection. The yuzhu cocktail was also fantastic.
Super confused at the previous reviews regarding the price - it has an ambience like a higher class establishment - expect to pay for the quality of the food and the ambience, but it was worth it!

Excellent fresh sashimi. Excellent service. They have set lunch that ranges between £25 to £40 which is reasonable for the kind of raw fish they include in the set menu.

Such an amazing and authentic Japanese Kaiseki! Best sushi I have ever had! Everything we ordered even just the salad sauce was amazing! UMAMI oozing everywhere! We had the best seats for watching the head chef... The host was also very attentive and social! The only thing is that they forgot that we were celebrating our anniversary so we did not get a special dessert... but still the food and the experience are gifts enough!

Always the best quality food, prepared wonderfully. If you’re dining in smaller numbers then the bar is great to sit at and watch the chefs as they craft the dishes. The staff are always attentive and personable.
Restaurant atmosphere is never too crowded or invasive, it’s a comfortable environment where you can have an amazing meal.
The wine list is extensive and has a great selection of wines from all over. Dined a few times before and will certainly be back.

I’ve had Sushi lunch set (Chef’s choice 10 kinds) £30 with Sencha Green tea £6.
The tea here was very delicious, well worth every penny. The first course was very creamy handmade tofu.
Miso soup and baby leaf salad with chrysanthemum petals next. Very pretty.
Mr. Hayashi (main chef) prepared my sushi right front of me.
Then he took time to explain not only the name of the fish, but where each fish came from.
The most delicious thing was red prawn.I forgot whether the place of origin was Portugal or Spain, but It was sweet, tender and a bit of cranch at the end and it was really nice

A beautiful venue, very sophisticated and relaxing. Their chandeliers remind of a Buddhist temple, it was fascinating looking at them.
The staff are all Japanese, very well mannered and friendly. I loved the food, it had authentic Japanese flavour unlike many other restaurants in London. Well definitely recommend to my friends.
The portions are very small, suitable for a late night dining.

Situated in Mayfair, this restaurant from the outside looks quite high-end yet subtle. It claims to be the best wagyu beef in town. The food is decent however it is not as good as it claims itself to be. We ordered daily special, a la carte and some sake, the Scottish langoustine sashimi was really good. We also really liked the foie gras over quail. A5 steak tasted a bit too fattening. Also they used a lot of sauce on most courses. Overall, it was a good experience, the manager Mark was very friendly and helpful.

The service is the worst, I ordered the set menu and my boyfriend ordered separately and we asked if we could share and the server said yes. However ,they cooked all our courses together and let us ate them together with all courses at the same time. I have been to so many Japanese restaurants before and this is the first time I have to eat the set menu together at the same time. The server said she misunderstood my request of share together and she also felt wired but she never confirmed with us. However the truth is, she never waited me to finish my order and thought she already understand what

Avoid if you're looking for a nice Japanese lunch or dinner! The food is very mediocre. We ordered some wagyu beef, sushi and salads. Most of it was tasteless and not worth what we were charged for. I've never had such simple sushi for a "Mayfair" restaurant, the taste, look and quality reminded me sushi chain products, not even average. Will stick to Harrods and Nobu.

The environment was gorgeous, certainly with the price to it and service is there and I believe the people working there are all very happy.
To the food, the wagyu beef was amazing and the tenderness and flavour is really something to the next level. And the starters are amazing in presentation and flavour as well. The mustard prawn was just unbelievable! And the salad is really making the whole starter set shine with the beautiful presentation and the flavour you are not expecting but blowing the mind.

But the one thing is the sauce. I am not sure if the sauce was even right as some of the sauce

Lovely decor..service was good but very slow..waited 40mins for our meal to arrive and 30mins for my coke to arrive after despite asking several times for it! For a top Wagu restaurant the service could of been a lot better! The food was really nice and would recommend it! But be aware of service charge 14.5% on top! As it will be very pricey. Overall a good restaurant and polite friendly hosts and waiters.

Very lovely place. There are bar seats where you can sit and watch all the cooking action, or you could choose to relax on a lovely curved sofa table, which could comfortable fit 4 pax.

Staff were incredibly friendly, proper and professional. I liked that I felt super welcomed into this restaurant despite being just a groupon customer.

Here's what we ordered:
1. Tori Ten Wasabi Mayo - 鶏天山葵マヨ Chicken Tempura with Wasabi Mayonnaise £7.50
2. Kohitsuji Dengaku - 子羊二種田楽 Char-grilled Lamb (2pc) with 2 styles of Miso £12
3. Pork Rib Shiokoji-yaki - ベビーポークリ

The place used to be Sakura and where they gave did well to transfer the downstairs to a beautiful grand golden looking place with its bar seating, dark red leather seats and dangling gold lights, they left the upstairs pretty much the same with its more neutral colours. Such a shame as I'm sure those who are pit upstairs feel they are missing out like we did.

Tokimeite has now started to offer a Sunday Robata brunch and from that specific menu we ordered the following:

Lettuce salad with a sesame cheese sauce

I expected a much better choice of lettuce that the iceberg. It wasn't exactly

My boyfriend and I had a fairly enjoyable meal at Tokimeite for our second anniversary. However, it's so expensive that I expected something more from it.

Starting with the ambiance - it's a nice enough atmosphere, with a long bar down one end and then a few tables down the other side. Some of the cooking is down down one end of the bar. Strangely, the music seemed to be remixes of pop songs. Having read on their website that they have three different areas in the restaurant, I was somewhat surprised that after finishing our drinks we were seated at a table next to the bar. It&apos

Right in the heart of the shopping district on Conduit street just inside of Regent street, is the new Japanese restaurant founded by Yoshihiro Murata, who apparently has 7 Michelin stars across three restaurants in Japan. The ambience is very modern/chic and the staff are very attentive and friendly. They have two drinks menu which was a bit confusing, so ask if you don't see the cocktails list.

With the four of us we went for two of the £55 tasting menu and shared a few other starters. The tasting menu is definitely worth it,with a whole variety of wagyu beef tar tar for starters, sashimi

Tokimeite is one of those new fangled trendy, high end (#expensive) restaurants but damn do I love them.

As a table of 4 we ordered two portions of the £55 tasting menu plus a couple of starters to share between us which turned out to be more than enough.

Pretty much all the dishes were delicious and packed with flavour apart from - maybe surprisingly - the sushi which was bland and just not. great.

The bill including drinks came up to £65/person even with our somewhat stingy ordering so it's definitely not one of your everyday restaurants.
