Appletree Nursery

At Appletree Childcare we have a mature, well established team, many of which have been with us since we first opened in 1994. We believe in working within the community, promoting personal development and allowing our staff to have a positive work-life balance. Most of our team have flexible contracts, which in turn allows us to offer flexible childcare.

A really big thank you for giving my son such a great start. He has always looked forward to going to Appletree to play with all his friends. Every member of the staff has been so good with him, even if he has to be told twenty times. Once again thank you for all your guidance, support and care. You have set him up for school perfectly.

Our Nursery provides care for children aged 3 months upwards in 3 areas: Baby Bramleys 3 months-2 years, Blossoming Braeburns 2-3 years and Pre-School Pippins 3 years upwards. We offer full and part-time places and the ability to book ad hoc sessions if you need that extra bit of time. We can take children in Pre-School Pippins up to the age 8, so we can offer help to cover school inset days.

A: We don't have a fixed method of settling a child in, as each child is unique. We will discuss your child's needs with you before they start and tailor the approach accordingly. We take into account your home routine (including sleeping and eating times) and your child's favourite toys, games and interests.

Appletree Childcare runs Breakfast Club, After School Clubs and Holiday Clubs for Grenoside and the local area. Our specially trained staff are well experienced and have NVQ Playwork and First Aid qualifications. Places are subject to availability, so it is best to have your child(s) name on our waiting list, however if we have spaces available they can be assigned on a flexible basis.
