Once Upon A Time Daycare is a large open plan nursery on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield, we incorporate seven areas of learning and development. We pride ourselves on offering some of the most competitive nursery fees in Sheffield. We have four individually name rooms which all offer a wonderful sense of space, light and most importantly community.

Our family run state of the art nursery is perfectly located in the heart of Sheffield Hallam, just off Ecclesall road with plenty of parking. Our aim is to provide the best possible start to each child's educational and personal development journey. Our nursery caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years.
At Once Upon A Time Daycare; We take looking after the most precious people in your life seriously. And that is why we have carefully selected the best possible team of child practitioners. Our qualified team members have a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare and education, we have several apprentices working towards their level 3. Our team will regularly update you on your child's progress throughout their time at our nursery.
To work alongside a room-based/centre-based team to deliver outstanding childcare in a high quality, safe, secure and caring environment. Through detailed coaching and training provided by the company, develop their own knowledge and ability when supporting the team, children and parents to the highest standard.
At Once Upon A Time Daycare we think of routines as shared activities with children and not as lists that are stuck on the wall to direct adult activities. We do have a guide to what goes on throughout the day but look for ways to make it one that can also be consulted by children. Inbetween meals and snack children can access focused adult led activities and also free play supported by the planning of each individual child.
The registration free is 260. From this there is an administration fee of 60. At the end of your contract with us (when your child leaves our setting) subject to our terms and conditions you will be refunded the 200 deposit. Bills are issues on the 11th-15th of every month and are payable by the 25th of the same month.
