We offer quality childcare services to local families. Providing nursery care for children aged 3 months to school age and holiday playcare for school aged children up to 11 years. The site provides a 65 place full day care provision, and 10 places for holiday play care. Tiddlywinks is a not-for-profit charitable company, which began life as a small community toddler group in 1997 organised by local people.

Services
Tiddlywinks developed a derelict works department site to create a local community based childcare provision. Tiddlywinks is a not-for-profit charitable company, which began life as a small community toddler group in 1997 organised by local people. The Arbourthorne estate is a recognised priority area and has substantially high levels of unemployment; low-income and a large proportion of lone parent families.
In Rainbows our ethos is to provide a cosy home from home where the children can play and learn in a warm and caring environment. The experienced and qualified staff team work in partnership with parents to ensure children's routine is followed. This room offers children a place to extend their world by creating opportunities to explore new exciting experiences.
The Tiddlywinks Centre is a Limited Company by Guarantee with charitable status, not for profit service, and has a strong group of professionals and local parents who make up the Trustees/Management Committee. The Board meet on a regular basis. The board of trustees are responsible for the overall management and directing the company strategy.
