JJ's is a purpose-built nursery situated in a rural farm location between South Kilworth and Welford.

Services
JJ's pride themselves in following your babies' home routines, supporting their development and well being between home and the setting, creating a nurturing, caring and supportive environment in which your baby can grow and thrive. Small groups are a key element of this room with a maximum of 9 babies at any one time with a minimum staff ratio of 1:3.
During the pre-school years, we build on early experiences by extending children's communication, social and physical skills to develop their exploration and creativity, problem solving and greater understanding of the world around them.
The children are encouraged to be totally independent and are taught very important life skills ready for school life such as putting on their own shoes/coats, preparing their own snacks, serving their own meals and clearing away afterwards, toileting, self-registration, choosing activities and following boundaries.Appreciate the environment in which they live and have good knowledge of what's happening around them.

Ensuring children are given the opportunity to explore and play outdoors every day is an essential part of their development. Outdoor play promotes a healthy lifestyle and stimulates positive interaction with others. It also encourages creativity and imaginative play alongside developing a child's physical skills, both fine and gross motor such as using tools/equipment and climbing, balance and co-ordination.
To be provided in bulk (nursery will store) and staff will inform parents when they are running low on stock so more can be provided. This way, we are never left without any and parents have plenty of time to re-stock when needed. It is essential we have changes of clothes to be either left on site or brought in daily with your child in their bag.
