Normanhurst Day Nursery has been providing quality childcare and early years provision since 1962. We are located close to the centre of Northampton, overlooking The Racecourse on St George's Avenue and within walking distance of the University of Northampton's "Avenue Campus".
Our nursery is situated within a light and spacious converted Victorian property, which has recently been refurbished and modernised, and subject to a regular renewal project which ensures that the environment is constantly changed and refreshed to provide a dynamic and varied learning environment for our children.This nursery has provided children with wonderful memories for over 55 years and has been integral to our wonderful reputation.

Services
We stimulate the babies as much as possible throughout the day, using visual aids, musical toys, soft toys and rattles. The company of other children will also stimulate your child, aiding and supporting their rapid development. We talk and sing to them, keep them clean at all times and involve them in the other activities going on.
Provision for the development and learning of children from birth to 5 years is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage. Every child is a unique child who is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Children learn and develop well in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practitioners, parents and carers.
