Camrose Centre Sure Start
We are a Maintained Nursery School and Daycare Provider. That means that all staff are public servants, that we have one Qualified Teacher overseeing the quality, and that we have highly qualified staff. The accountable body is the Camrose Governing Body. We help ensure that children reach their potential and are ready for school.

We work with parents and carers to involve them in their children's learning, development and education. When you come to the Centre, you can be sure of a warm welcome into a friendly and stimulating environment, where children can play, learn and flourish.
Services
The Centre's Nursery provides a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment to meet the social, emotional and educational needs of each child. Our committed staff are well qualified and extremely experienced. Each child has a named key worker and a qualified teacher oversees the quality of the provision.
The Centre's Governing Body sets the strategic direction of the Centre and holds the Head and Senior Management Team to account for the quality of our provision. They are 'critical friends' of the Centre and support and challenge rigorously in relation to all aspect of the Centre's work.

Our Governing Body is organised into two Committees; 'Resources' which deals with Finance, Personnel and Health & Safety issues and the 'Children & Families' Learning & Play' (CFLP) which deals with our education curriculum and pupil attainment as well as our family learning.
Due to our existing Deputy retiring in the summer, we are looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic Deputy Head to be part of the exciting next steps at Camrose Early Years Centre. In May of this year Camrose Early Years Centre began a collaboration with Foundations for Children Nursery Schools Federation (comprising 3 Nursery Schools in Northamptonshire - Croyland Nursery School, Highfield Nursery School and Parklands Nursery School).
The vast majority of the Centre's staff members are qualified in different spheres of work with children. There is a Code of Conduct, to which all staff are required to work. As a staff team we are extremely experienced, and we are actively involved in the training and professional development of students and of other staff in the County.
Play is absolutely essential for young children to learn and develop. Through play, children gain language skills, their emotions and creativity, social and intellectual skills. For most children their play is natural and spontaneous, although some children may need extra help from adults. Play takes place indoors and outdoors and it is in these different environments that children explore and discover their immediate world around them.
