Old Park Primary School
At Old Park we promise you a nurturing ethos where children will be able to dream and plan for an ambitious future; to believe in themselves and the ability of their teachers and other adults to guide them; to inspire others through their aspiration and success and to achieve the highest standards they are capable of in all areas.

As a school we endeavor to develop independent learners with ambition and a sense of responsibility. This is achieved through a balanced and enriched curriculum where children enjoy learning and working together.
Services
Old Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Safeguarding Policy which can be viewed in the Policies section of our website.
At Old Park Primary we are committed to equality of opportunity for all. This philosophy is embedded in our Mission Statement and School Aims and is the driving force which informs all our policies and practice. We believe that no individual should be limited or judged by their gender, age, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, disability or socio-economic background.
Pupil Premium funding, which is additional to the main school funding, is allocated to schools to help address inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and those children who are not. Schools are currently given Pupil Premium funding of 1,300 per pupil for those whose families who have registered for FSM or who have been registered for FSM at any point during the past 6 years.
Beginning in 2013/2014, The Government has been providing funding to schools to improve the quality and breadth of physical education and sports provision. Schools are free to determine how best to use this funding including increasing participation in physical education and sport so that all pupils develop healthy lifestyles and reach the performance levels they are capable of.
As a school it is our responsibility to guide our children to understand their roles and responsibilities as young citizens. The ethos of our school is such that we continually emphasise the importance of developing the whole child to enable them to make a positive contribution both in and out of school.
