Why don't you come and find out for yourself? The only way to truly appreciate what we have to offer is to come and visit us and meet our wonderful children and incredible staff. Hanbury Primary is a nurturing school where positive relationships are developed. We are especially proud of our high standards of behaviour.

At Hanbury, we have high expectations of all pupils and, with our inclusive ethos, we believe that all children can achieve! We are constantly striving to develop our school and the curriculum to ensure our children receive a first rate education. I am very proud to lead both the children - who prove themselves to be fantastic every day - and the staff - who are relentless and proactive in making a difference to the children's lives.
Services
Should you wish for your child to have school meals, please send the money into school on a Monday, in an envelope with their name and class written on it. More information on whether your child is eligible for free school meals can be found at http://www.sandwell.gov.uk/info/200151/education_benefits/2176/free_school_meals or by calling 01215698186.
At Hanbury, we always put the needs of our children first and want to build positive relationships and partnerships with all of our parents, carers and the community. We understand that on occasions, times can be hard and we need to support each other through this. Our Family Support Worker, Kerrie Slater is available to work closely with you and your child or children to help make things better.
Our learning vision at Hanbury Primary School is to provide a wide range of opportunities that will provide our children with a thirst for learning. We believe this will result in successful learners, who will develop confidence, resilience and an inquisitive nature. Our motto, 'Aim High, Shine Together' really encompasses the high expectations and positive ethos that can be found at Hanbury.
At Hanbury Primary, we want to provide the children with the best reading provision possible because reading is a key skill that ensures the children can access all the other areas of the curriculum. We understand the value and importance of teaching our children to read fluently and to understand what they are reading.
All children at Hanbury Primary School have Reading lessons. In Reception and Year One, the majority of these lessons are based on Phonics. In Years 1 to 6, the children have specific Reading lessons. These reading lessons teach the children the elements of the National Curriculum, focusing on the children's ability to read words and understand what they have read.

I use to adore this back in the day. But every year just gets worse when there are staff members who dont respect you at all.
