This place came recommended and appears from reviews an excellent venue. We booked for my fathers 60th and was really looking forward. The plus side the staff were excellent, pricing ok and lovely atmosphere. Why then only 3 stars?
The food for ok but not great. Starters were fantastic all around but the mains didn't wow anyone. For example I have the Seafood Pasta and to be honest it needed more flavour as the sauce felt bland. My wife said her did was fine but need also more flavour.
Deserts were nice, large portion but I have had better.
Cocktails were mixed review amongst group. I really

Staff were very pleasant and happy to help but we were disappointed with the food. We probably had the worst version of garlic bread! There were only a few dribbles of olive oil and balsamic vinigar rather than little dipping bowls with bread basket. We could see quite a bit of dust on the floor too... Taking into account location and prices, we were sadly disappointed...

This restaurant was absolutely worth 5 stars! The outstanding service, the fabulous food and the stunning location with views of Pulteney Bridge and the River Avon. The inside of the restaurant had beautiful beams and fairy lights too. I had the lamb ragu which was cooked to perfection, the lamb fell apart in my mouth and the pasta was al dente, the sauce and portion size was perfect! My husband loved the pork and my son also loved his pizza, we tried bits of eachothers and agreed this was definitely some of the best food we have eaten. We also had the selection of meats and cheese, olives and

Absolutely fabulous experience, the food is mouthwatering delicious, we enjoyed it a lot, the risotto is out of this world. we had the table by the stunning view of the river. this young man in the photo Omar made us feel home, Omar was very friendly and his suggestions were bullseye, after a long day enjoying the city of bath, this hidden restaurant is a real experience that we really enjoyed.

Location was very nice right by the river. Good hand hygiene and social distancing. Was a bit expensive. Friendly professional staff. Dishes were tasty but nothing extraordinary. Lamb pasta dish melted in your mouth but lacked sauce making it dry. Carbonara was fine could have had more meat. Cheese cake was nice but small. Ice cream was fine.
