I am very proud to be headteacher of Estcots Primary School where all staff share a passion for education and we work hard to provide experiences that offer children a fantastic start to their school careers. Our aim is that each and every child should aspire to reach beyond the horizon and to develop individual talents that will make for a strong foundation for future adult life.

Governors play an important part in overseeing the running of the school in the interests of the community it serves. Governors govern rather than manage. The governing body is made up of a cross-section of the local community and includes parent representatives of children at the school. Estcots has 11 governors who have been elected and co-opted into the governing body.
The money that we provide supplements the school budget and enables the school to both update and purchase new equipment. Additionally, we like to think that we are able to provide those little "extras" for the children in school. For example, this may include paying for theatre companies to visit school to provide entertainment or help fund day trips for all years.
Each phase uses engaging themes and topics with rich good quality books to deliver a truly irresistible curriculum. All planning is topic based and is designed to be as engaging as possible for all learners. Each topic is enhanced by stunning starts and fabulous finishes with exciting experiences en route to drive the learning and engagement forward.
We strongly believe that all children and young people have the right to feel safe and to be protected from physical, sexual or emotional abuse and neglect. Understanding and Action: to understand what is happening; to be heard and understood; and to have that understanding acted upon. Stability: to be able to develop an ongoing stable relationship of trust with those helping them.
This money is ring-fenced. It is likely that the Government will continue to provide this additional money for the next two academic years. The allocation for 2020-21 is 19,580. The school will spend this on resources, Sports Week and on continued training of the teachers. To ensure that the children get the best introduction to new sports and the chance to improve their skills year on year.
