Everything we do at the school is intended to ensure that your child is happy, loves learning and makes fantastic progress in all aspects of school life. We want our children to believe in themselves and feel that anything is possible. We know that each child is different and has talents that are unique.

Here at Milton Mount we are incredibly lucky to have a dedicated woodland area inside our school grounds where our children, through play, learn about the natural environment, how to handle risks and most importantly how to use their own initiative to solve problems and co-operate with others. This unique way of learning allows the children to build independence, confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
As a Rights Respecting School we work hard to promote and respect the Rights of the Child which is outlined in the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child. Milton Mount School is always striving to become an even better Rights Respecting School. We were delighted to have achieved UNICEF's level 1 award in 2013 and are incredibly proud to have now achieved their 'Gold Award' in 2018.
As a Rights Respecting School we know that all people need to be treated with respect and that we should care for others. Differences are to be celebrated and we know we are treated with equality. We all know bullying will not be accepted at our school. Our Anti-bullying Ambassadors work regularly with Mrs Coysh, our school PSHE and Anti-Bullying Lead teacher.
The aim of the Bike-It scheme is to encourage as many children, staff and parents as possible to cycle safely to and from school. Pupil and staff members of the Bike-It Crew organise different events during the school year including Bike Breakfasts, "Bling your bike" sessions and Dr Bike maintenance days.
Here at Milton Mount we believe that a working partnership between the school, parents and children results in the success and happiness of our pupils. Ofsted have a website called 'Parent View' whereby parents are able to express their thoughts about their child's school from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.
