Come and visit and join the excitement of a growing learning community where we all strive to get better every single day. Our whole school curriculum is built around the National Curriculum and in addition to this, there are some bespoke elements to what we offer such as: Room13, Games (a project involving our community) and artist-based transition units that we are very proud of.
Not to mention our own History curriculum! All of which is designed to ensure that our children develop into aspirational, resilient and capable individuals who can make connections between their own identities and the world in which they are growing up. Our creative staff work hard to maximise potential, create opportunity, ensure learning and fun coexist and to continue to pursue their vocation with enthusiasm and dedication.

We want to be forever proud of our achievements by all our children past and present and all our staff past and present. This vision statement is a chance to remember why we are here; how important we are; how influential we can be and how much freedom and responsibility we have. EVERYONE has a large impact on the children's experience and perception of adults: how to behave; how to communicate; how to be.
Our curriculum is bespoke to us and is driven by the fact that we want children to leave the Mill secure in their own identity; familiar with their own community and sense of family; skilled in making connections with friends and the wider world. The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities.
We are a child-centred school, where every child genuinely has a voice in their life and learning. We are continuing to develop our school council based on the Smart School Council Model. It is a model which has been tried, tested and proved successful in many schools nationally. It consists of 3 main elements - a Communications Team, Action Teams and Class Meetings.
The Mill Primary Academy is an academy as part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT). Its constitution is set out in the Articles of Association and this is shared with individual academies via the scheme of delegation. TKAT have, through the scheme of delegation, established Local Governing Bodies for each of the Academies.
Our curriculum is bespoke to us and is driven by the fact that we want children to leave the Mill secure in their own identity; familiar with their own community and sense of family; and have a real sense of opportunity as they leave us to continue their education. In addition to Writing, maths, reading, science, PE and Art, described on the other pages, we run an outcome driven curriculum.

This school is honestly the worst school I've ever had to deal with they expect the world from you and give nothing in return one of the receptionists is the most arrogant, rude, power hungry person I have ever met some of the teachers are great however there is little to nothing they can do to solve any issues or problems you may have they are unable to follow the most basic requests I would like to say that its just my bad experience with the school however talking to a large number of other parents who either have children currently attending this school or have had in the past they have had the
