We aim to provide excellent quality health care services to all our registered patients. We have a well-established team of experienced GPs, nurses and administrative staff who help us achieve this. We offer a variety of methods for patients to access health care to suit differing needs. These include on-day appointments, routine appointments, telephone consultations on most days, home visits where necessary and online access to appointments.
We have a strong ethos in promoting excellence. This is recognised by the Care Quality Commision who rate our services as Good and by the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery who recognise our skills and accredit us as a teaching practice. This allows us to help train the next generation of doctors to become GPs.

Richmond Medical Centre was formed in 1985. In 1992 the practice moved to a new purpose built building. The Centre provides a warm, welcoming and comfortable environment for patients and staff. As a practice we have a Statement of Purpose which goes into what we aspire to do as a surgery for our patients and what we wish to acheive and maintain as a practice.
As a means of ending our dependency on oil Richmond Medical Centre have made a commitment to the community and the plants, animals, and wildlife that, if possible we will ride our bikes, walk, take the bus, or carpool whenever it is possible. Each and every day we promise to make a conscious effort to use means other than cars to get to work, undertake home visits and to run errands.
