At Greystones Medical Centre we take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery (currently suspended) and childhood vaccinations.
As a patient at Greystones Medical Centre your named and accountable GP will be Dr Richard Benn. As a patient at Greystones we can offer you certain services online, making life a little easier for you. There are options to book GP appointments, order repeat prescriptions and nominate a pharmacy so your medicine will be ready to collect without you having to come into surgery to collect the prescription.

Services
If you need a GP appointment you should telephone the surgery and book a telephone call back appointment (at present we are not routinely offering face to face GP appointments). Please ensure we have your current contact details. The clinician will telephone you at the time you have booked and so you will need to keep your phone nearby and be ready to answer the call preferably in a quiet environment.
You do not require a doctor's sickness certificate for any illness lasting seven days or less. If you are sick for more than seven days, your employer can ask you to give them some form of medical evidence to support payment of SSP (statutory sick pay). If you're sick and off work for more than seven days, your employer will probably ask for proof of your illness.
Please note we require at least 48 hours notice for all choices. If you would like your prescription delivered to either your home or chemist then please provide a stamp-addressed envelope. Greystones Medical Centre use Electronic Prescriptions so if you would like us to send your prescription electronically to a pharmacy of your choice, please contact your local pharmacy or ask at Reception to set up this option.
We offer an annual medication review to each patient on repeat medication, particularly if they have a chronic health condition. If you have a medication review indicated on your repeat medication sheet but do not think you need a review e.g. We think you are the most important person in deciding what matters in your health care.
Typically, when you apply for products such as life insurance and critical illness cover your insurance company would normally pay for the doctor's time to complete this work should it be required. Forms that need completing by patients which require a doctors input or signature are chargeable and must be met by the patient.

Very unprofessional. They don't communicate, ignore repeated email communications. When requesting repeat prescription they are always late and usually need chasing. When you do phone up you get a very dismissive response. If you live locally I suggest you go to another medical centre.
If you speak to Michelle, expect to be ignored.
This place let's the wonderful NHS down.
