We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups. Both surgeries have access for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Patients attend either the Main Surgery or the Blackstock Branch, but are welcome to use the other services provided at either site. Services
A Long Term Condition is one that is unlikely to go away (like asthma or diabetes), and requires ongoing attention to keep their health in a good state. This is best achieved by a partnership between patient, practice and the wider support organisations. We know this involves considering health, social and self-management aspects of care.
Before requesting an appointment please visit our links page or visit your local Pharmacy. Doctorlink works closely with your practice to bring you the best possible care. It is designed by doctors to ensure you can safely assess your symptoms at any time and directly access services provided by your practice without waiting on the phone.
You do not need to see a GP or a Nurse for a repeat prescription, unless you are due a medication review or are concerned about the medications you are on. You can order a repeat prescription by bringing your repeat prescription slip into the surgery or post it in to us. The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.
If you wish to book an appointment on-line, please contact Patient Services who will provide you with details to access this service. Please note these appointments are for a 10 minute Doctors appointment who will usually deal with a single medical problem. Please do not allow multiple medical problems build up and ask the GP to sort them all out in 10 minutes, there will not be enough time.
Results are only disclosed to the patient or in the case of a child, a parent or named guardian. Please call in and speak to a Patient Services representative or phone after 2pm if you wish to know any results. If you are housebound and would like to request a visit please telephone Patient Services before 10am.

I would give them zero if I could.
The Worst gp ever, this place is a disgrace of a place. They refuse to see you and treat you like you are nothing. I've seen them making little girls cry by refusing to let them use the toilet because they have made them wait in the rain for twenty minutes.
All they ever say "do a covid test"
No wonder most of your Dr's have left you are the worst place I have ever been and I hope this place is shut down to save the public from this disgusting third class service.
I will be making a serious complaint about myself and other patients have been treat.

I want to say huge thank you to Practice Nurse STEPH for her treatment, advise and efforts to get an appointment for me at the Northern General Hospital the same afternoon. Its very rare I will call or visit the doctors, I would normally suffer to avoid calling the place. On two occasions I've had no choice but to call. First time was needing information regarding fertility, never got further than the arrogant receptionist. & today I called as i had been referred . Same receptionist, she acted
like I was going mad and didnt know I was talking about, I'm assuming to make me feel stupid and get out of actually doing anything. Please take me off the list 👍

After being a patient here for 30 years I recently contacted them for an appointment (The first time in years). This was followed up by a letter a few days later giving me 30 days to find a new GP as I had moved house. It really was an abysmal way to part companies. This was then followed up by a text message saying my records have been "deducted". It might be a blessing in disguise though as the patient care has gone downhill ever since moving to the new premises.

I have been a patient for around 20 years and have always found all the staff to be helpful, caring and compassionate. I rarely attend the surgery but had cause to contact them today and they were all most helpful from the clerical staff to the doctor who called me and arranged a face to face appointment. The doctor I saw was very professional and efficient and has put my mind at rest. Much appreciated
