Children are at the heart of everything we do because we want them to thrive, excel and shine. Everybody works very hard to consistently deliver outstanding learning opportunities for all. We take care to nurture and help children in their self-confidence and keenness to tackle a challenge. Please remember we are a NUT FREE school - please do not pack nuts or sweets in packed lunches.
No PE kits this week (but children will have PE lessons if timetabled on Thursday and Fridays).

Services
Everyone in our school works very hard every day to consistently deliver outstanding learning opportunities for all children, in order that our vision comes true that "all children reach to achieve their best". What makes us different and a very special place is numerous (do come and visit us).
Teachers know their children as individuals and plan lessons accordingly so in every lesson, all children make progress, whether it's a maths, PE or an Art lesson.Every class has a teaching assistant who is there, with the teacher, to help children learn. We have a very creative and engaging curriculum and children tell us all the time, that teachers make lessons very interesting.

Governors are one of the largest volunteer forces in the country and have an important part to play in raising school standards. The role of the governing board is absolutely key to the effectiveness of a school. Each individual governor is a member of a governing board, which is established in law as a corporate body.
Reigate Parish is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School. This gives us freedoms many other schools do not enjoy, such as our specific Christian approach to education. However, it also gives us additional responsibilities for which the School's Governors have to find funds. For example, upgrading ICT equipment or renovating parts of the school and our outside space.
The School Development Plan (SDP) is a tool used by the school to ensure we are improving and moving forward. This year we have three focus areas that thread through everything: staff meetings, book scrutinies, external advisors meetings, Governing Body meetings, appraisals, etc. The focus for each SDP remains as ever on children and their learning and refining teaching so it is the best.
If you would like to join a tour, please email info@reigate-parish.surrey.sch.uk with the date you would like to attend and provide the names that will attend the tour. We are limiting this to a maximum of 6 adults only and will be on a first come first serve basis. It would be appreciated if children did not attend with you.
