We are operating our normal working hours and are here for you. Community Vets is a very small, independent companion animal veterinary practice in Easton in Gordano; close to Portishead, Pill, Portbury, Abbots Leigh and Bristol.

We are situated at Markham Farm, within a mile of the M5 motorway at junction 19. Richard and Helen Bragg, both veterinary surgeons, aim to provide something that is a little different. We aim to get to know you and your pet well and tailor our service to meet your unique individual requirements.

Services Report

Just because we are small, it doesn't limit the services we can offer you and your pets - you will find a very small building with some unique features. We like treating dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, tortoises and chickens; we will happily examine other more exotic species and wildlife casualties but are not experts in this field.

Emergencies Report

During normal working hours if your pet needs urgent veterinary care please phone the practice in advance of arriving in order that we can prepare for your arrival and give any necessary first aid advice for your journey. Although we would love to be able to care for your pets 24/7, with a team of only 2 vets and 2 nurses and a very small building without living accommodation, it is impossible for us to provide this.

We have used Richard and Helen for years, there is nobody we would trust with our pets as much as them. Lovely friendly vets practice with the emphasis on CARE and QUALITY rather than selling (as you get with big name chains). Plus our cats love them!!

Richard rang very promptly to rearrange a cancelled appointment . The discussion about Charlie was via several phone calls to me in car park. Charlie had his annual check and meds. There was additional discussion of current problem with some medication to trial. I was very pleased with service.

We found a dog on the road and luckily this place was very close, the vet (sorry can't remember her name) was extremely helpful and friendly, and was quick to reunite Dudley, the dog, with his sitter.

A wealth knowledge and love at a brilliant practice. Richard and Helen have both been great with our little puppy Olive. She’s been in a few times for various reasons and each time they’ve made us feel at ease and explained everything and given us 100% reassurance. Nurses are absolutely brilliant and so friendly on arrival. I trust them all in the care of our precious pup. Can’t reccomend enough. Thanks so much!

Helen and Richard have taken excellent care of my pets for many, many years and I completely trust them to make the right decision for my animals. I always feel that I am being given informed and considered options and not just forced into moneymaking procedures. Their nurses are also fantastic, patient and kind. As an "animal professional" I have worked with many vets and they are hands down one of the best I have encountered and I can't recommend them highly enough!
