Thornleigh Day Nursery is a semi-detached house built in 1900, converted from a guest house to a children's day nursery in 2001. We have been running with great success for over 18 years. All our staff and chosen carefully, each having relevant qualifications, experience and a genuine love for children.
We are situated in a central but quiet location within walking distance from all the local schools for which we provide wrap around care for - a great help for working parents. We are split into 3 rooms - Little Sunshine's for our babies under 2 years old, Rainbow's for our 2-3 year old's and the Star's for the over 3's.

Services
Throughout the day we will entertain, observe and most importantly we will care for your children. We encourage physical, emotional, social and intellectual development for your child by teaching through play in a resourceful environment. Children are encouraged to access all areas of the nursery independently, exploring and learning through play.
Because it can be difficult to be sure that you have found a quality childcare setting we have put together a few promises. Staff ratios are always met. These are: under 2 yrs is 1-3, 2-3yrs is 1-4, & 3+ is 1-8 The members of staff are present in all areas of the nursery at all times, carefully observing the children in their care.
