Offering a counselling service, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, based in the convenient location of North Cardiff. Giving couples and individuals a chance to explore their concerns in an empathic, confidential and non-judgemental environment. CBT is a talking therapy (counselling) which focuses on the link between our negative thoughts (cognitions), emotions, physical symptoms and our subsequent behaviour.

We can get stuck in a vicious cycle of negative thoughts and behaviour.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their strict code of professional and ethical guidelines. Level 2 trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and I incorporate Gottman Method Couples therapy in my work with couples.

It has been shown that how we see ourselves, others and the world is influenced by the meanings that we ascribe to life events e.g. a divorce or redundancy could cause us to question our self worth and abilities to acquire another partner or job.Events negatively interpreted can lead us to view ourselves and others negatively damaging our self-confidence, self-esteem and our motivation for life.
