We are very proud to have served the animal owners of Aylesbury Vale, The Chilterns and Thames Valley for over 80 years, and to be one of only about 150 RCVS Accredited Small Animal Veterinary Hospitals in the UK out of 4,000 practices. In addition, our Equine Practice, Hampden Equine (formerly known as Baskerville Horgan & Partners), and Farm Practice are also both accredited with the RCVS in their own right.
We provide a very warm and friendly, high quality and affordable veterinary care, with the vet of your choice, and continue to provide our own out of hours emergency care. Most owners come to us through recommendation. In our last Customer Survey, 98% said that they would recommend us to their family and friends.

Services
There has been a veterinary practice at our present Hospital site in Aylesbury for over 100 years, which at that time was on the edge of the town and where the vet worked out of his Georgian house with stables in what was his back garden. This building continued to be used as part of our Small Animal Hospital till 2009.
We now have a new dedicated out-of-hours service, and additional routine clinics available at more convenient times, to improve the level of care for the pets of Aylesbury. Clinics will be at the hospital on weekend afternoons and at our Elm Farm branch surgery on Saturday mornings.
We proudly provide this improved service to ensure pets who are sick or injured can be cared for 24 hours a day, by veterinary teams specifically working either the daytime or night-time.It takes over from the previous service where day vets have been on-call overnight. We are happy to advise that we provide our own out-of-hours service from our Hospital in Anchor Lane, Aylesbury.

Our clients range from many individual leisure horse owners and pony club members, through to serious competition riders, racing stables and international renown studs. So you can be sure that we have the experience and knowledge to meet your individual needs. Our experienced equine veterinary surgeons are dedicated to our RCVS Accredited Equine Practice.
Our livestock veterinary surgeons are dedicated solely to our RCVS Accredited Farm Animal Practice, which ensures they are able to provide the full range of farm animal veterinary services personalised for your requirements, 24 hrs per day. Our Proactive Farm Health Planning promotes active planning through surveillance, risk management, measurement, monitoring and reviews.

We have just moved into the area and Indi our elderly GSD needed to meet the vet and have an assessment for medication. The team made us welcome and treated Indi with care and a nice nature. We will obviously be only using this vet from now on!
