We are a two-form entry school with a nursery offering both full- and part-time places. We serve the heart of Streatham, offering an inclusive and broad education to all of our children. Services
We aim to develop our school so that it has consistency at its heart, that it is a creative and exciting place for our children and for the community, that we have high expectations of each other and that we hold each other to account. We are committed to educating in a holistic way, focusing on the social, moral, creative and artistic as well as the academic.
Sunnyhill Road School was built in 1900 on land given by the family of Beriah Drew, Lord of the Manor of Leigham. It was the 444th school to be built by the London School Board, whose initials LSB can be seen in various motifs on the outside of the building together with the date of the year in which it was built.
The Sunnyhill Governing body is made up of thirteen governors plus the school's Head Teacher. Holding executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the effective and efficient performance management of staff; and. Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
All Lambeth maintained schools and nurseries have a similar approach to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school.
Sunnyhill's pupils are at the core of everything that we do, we aim to focus on developing collaboration, creativity, consistency and quality in all aspects of our provision. We have high expectations of all our pupils. At Sunnyhill Primary School we recognise bilingualism as strength and that every child in the school has a valuable contribution to make.

Beautiful school, wonderful teachers and lovely pupils. The teachers really care about the pupils and the pupils thrive. The curriculum is great they learn so much which is reflected in recent Sats results which are continually getting better every year. The school grounds are fab from the early years playground to the pirate ship. There area also dedicated teachers for subjects such as music and pe. The senior staff are at the gates no matter the weather greeting the parents. Fab community feel with a dedicated pta raising money for the school. Wouldn't send my children to any other school and
