Harpur's Hill Primary School is located in Coleraine, just off the Ballycastle Road. We have a full time Nursery Unit, as well as two Learning Support Centres and a Nurture Room. We endeavor to do this by providing a caring, stimulating environment to develop the whole child. It is our aim to develop links with parents in order that a genuine desire for high standards of work, attitudes and behaviour is valued by all.

In preparation for later life we are convinced that children should have good moral standards, a wealth of knowledge and social skills and we feel that our school is a positive influance in developing the potential of all children in our care. Please feel free to explore our website a bit more and see for yourself exactly what Harpur's Hill Primary School has to offer.
Services
Throughout the school year we will also be looking at a number of different programmes for children to learn new and important skills. These include speech and drama for the local festival, cycling proficiency and HeartStart. This term we are focusing on HeartStart; a programme to help our P7 pupils develop important first aid techniques to help them if they are in an emergency.
Welcome to Harpur's Hill Primary School, where we grow and learn together through respect and encouragement for one another, in a nurturing and happy school environment. If this takes too long to download, follow us on Facebook, where the video is also posted along with other posts celebrating the achievements of our children.
All pupils of compulsory primary school age will be admitted up to the enrolment figure set by the Department of Education. At present the enrolment number is set at 224 (excluding our Learning Support Centres which have an enrolment number set at 12 and our Nursery which has an enrolment number set at 26), with the maximum number of children admitted into Primary 1 set at 30.
All children are taught according to the areas of study, prescribed under the Northern Ireland Curriculum. Through this we aim to develop each child to his/her full potential, not only intellectually, but physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and we will provide the basic skills to enable a child to work towards attaining these goals.
Harpur's Hill Primary School has a uniform of which we are proud. It offers all pupils a common form of appearance. The uniform is practical, economical and emphasises the school policy, that all children are treated alike. P1 - P4 do not change for P.E. and may wear a white polo shirt, school sweatshirt and joggers to school on P.E.
