We hope you enjoy your visit. Our school provides a stable and secure environment to develop excellence for learning across the whole curriculum; but we are 'so much more than that'. Here at Ravenswood we believe that every child has the right to the very best educational experience we can give them.
We are always looking for ways we can improve what we do for the benefit of the children. We want to encourage parents and carers, and all involved in the wider community, to feel an important part of the school. Why not volunteer to support reading throughout the school, this is such a rewarding thing to do.

Services
Ravenswood Primary School provides a broad, balanced and creative curriculum, in line with the National Curriculum. A wide range of subjects are taught focusing on the development of knowledge, understanding and skills, with a strong emphasis on the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science and designed to ensure that pupils of all abilities will excel.
At Ravenswood Community Primary School we give all of our children the opportunity to join an after-school activity. We believe it provides our children with a great way to finish the school day in a friendly and encouraging environment. Our clubs provide parents with the perfect solution to finding that extra hour in the day.
Our club is held in the school hall. The entrance is via the 'disco door' or exit to the right of the hall if you are facing it. Please ring our doorbell, located on the door, to alert a member of staff that you are here. We open our doors at 7.30am and end the session at 8.40am when we will escort the children to their classes.
Where is the after-school club held? Our club is held in the rain forest room from Monday to Thursday and in the school hall on Fridays. Children are to be collected from the exit in the rain forest room or via the 'disco door' or exit to the right of the hall if you are facing it on a Friday evening.
All Governors are elected volunteers who act collectively, serving a term of four years, and have legal duties, powers and responsibilities. Please see attached information which will tell you how our Governing Body is made up, what the role of the governing body is and the committees that are formed from this.

This school is horrific. The learning is all fake, I went to my induction day for High-School and done French, however all the French I learned here is all wrong. The teacher in Year 6, which I shall not say her name is absolutely mean, she'll yell at you so loud that you'll cry and shake to death. She yells at the boys for no reason but never tells off the girls, which is VERY sexist. The headteacher, Mrs Mills may seem like a kind lady but really she's rude; I may of been in this school sinc Nurserey but honestly, I wish I moved. If you want to send your child to a good rated school, send them
