At Bosmere we work with the other schools within the C.E.T MAT to explore the different way in which we can work collaboratively to improve the education of our collective pupils. Following our Ofsted Inspection, the report has been published and I would like to invite you to have a closer look-see the Key Info tab.

The Staff and Governors are delighted that Ofsted has recognised that Bosmere is 'Good' in all areas. This result reflects the hard work, effort and commitment that our Bosmere community of teaching & support staff, parents, governors and, most importantly, our children have collectively shown since the last inspection to raise and improve the standard of education at Bosmere.
Services
A warm welcome from the staff, governors and children at Bosmere Community Primary School. We have recently been talking about what we value at Bosmere. Our children and staff (along with governors and parents) have together discussed and written what we feel sits at the heart of daily life at our school.
Governing bodies are the key strategic decision-making body of every school and have a vital role to play in making sure every child gets the best possible education. Holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff;.
Bosmere Community Primary School is an inclusive school that welcomes children from all backgrounds and abilities. The level of ability of a child or any special needs and disabilities that s/he may have plays no part in the admissions policy of this school. We admit children in accordance with the LA Admissions Policy.
PE and school sport is very important to us all at Bosmere Primary School and we pride ourselves on promoting physical activity by offering a wide range of experiences within PE lessons, and during lunchtime, after school and extra-curricular activities. As you will be aware, every Primary school in the country has received additional funding from the government for sport and physical education in this academic year.
The DfE have recently reinforced the need "to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs."

Actively promoting these values means challenging pupils, staff or parents/carers who express opinions contrary to fundamental British values, including 'extremist' views.Pupil voice, as well as parent/carer voice, plays a central part in developing school improvement priorities. The school is clear in demonstrating how pupils should contribute and co-operate and consider the views and needs of others.

I have two very happy children who attend Bosmere. Teachers, staff and head are always on hand to help and support children and parents.
