Services
Whether you are a prospective parent, a visitor or most importantly, a pupil, welcome to our school website. Here you will find lots of information about school. Some of the information is required by law, some for OfSTED, some for parents and some for the children themselves. We hope that you find the website both informative and interesting and that it adequately shows us to be the super school that we know we are.
We have a wonderful team working in Woodland Nursery. Miss Alker is our teacher and we are lucky to be supported by Mrs Rotheram, Ms Tyrer and Ms Maya. All our staff are incredibly dedicated and will always be there before and after school if ever you would like a chat. If your child likes getting messy, dinosaurs, unicorns, singing, exploring and experimenting then they will love Woodland Nursery and we can't wait to hear from you!
Our PE day is Friday and children will need their kits in school each week for this session. We are fortunate to have a wonderful outdoor area which we use everyday rain or shine. Could you please ensure that your child is sent to school with appropriate footwear and warm clothing on wet and windy days.
We have a wonderful team working here in Year1! Miss Blackledge, Mrs Holmes and Mrs Connolly are our lovely class teachers and they are lucky to be supported by the fantastic Mrs Reynolds, Mrs Millward, Miss Cameron and Mrs Grimes. All of our staff are incredibly dedicated and will always be there to listen before and after school if ever you would like a chat!
Year 2 is a really significant year in the children's lives in Woodland as they embark on their final year in Key Stage 1 and prepare for Key Stage 2. We encourage the children to be confident, independent learners and aim to develop a 'can do' attitude to work and play. Please do not hesitate to talk to us or ask us any questions either before or after school on the playground or via the Seesaw app.
