At St Aidan's CE Primary School we work in partnership with St Aidan's Church and Liverpool Diocese. We aim to develop all pupils so that they are prepared for life's events and challenges along their journey into adulthood; this includes supporting them to develop spiritually, academically, physically and socially.
This happens in a unique, caring and loving environment based firmly on the school's Christian Values-(see Anglican Life). We aim to use the model of Christ in helping us to create ' a little bit of Heaven on Earth for everyone.' A child's first step into full-time education is very important and it must be a positive and happy experience.

Services
We have introduced a new system. If your child has an injury they will be seen by a first aider who will treat the injury, then give your child a sticker showing that they have received first aid. Please look out for these. Obviously, if your child has a bang to the head or other serious injury we will contact you, or ask to see you after school to sign the accident book.
Parents who wish to put their child's name down to start school can do so by making an appointment with either the Head or the Deputy Head. Admission to the Reception Class takes place in the September before the child's fifth birthday in that school year. Admission forms will be sent out in the October prior to admission in the following September.
Grey skirt/grey school trousers, white polo shirt, dark green jumper/sweatshirt/cardigan, white socks/tights. During the Summer green and white gingham dresses may be worn. All clothing MUST be CLEARLY MARKED with your child's name. This saves problems with lost clothing. All PE kits and swim wear MUST be in a drawstring bag and ALL children must have their PE kit in school all week.
7.30 - 8.50 am Cost 4.10. Our children can choose from our healthy menu of a variety of cereals, toast, muffin or crumpet as well as a drink of fruit juice, milk or water (individual requirements can also be catered for). We have lots of activities available, which the children help to choose themselves and consider the needs and interests of the wide range of children attending.
We have a vast array of out-of-school hours activities. Most of the activities are led by our own staff and are free of charge, however there are several external agencies that provide specialist coaching for a small fee. Activities run on almost everyday of the week, but there are some that are seasonal.
