Palmerston Primary School is a mainstream school in the Vale of Glamorgan that is also a base for children with physical impairments. Services
It is a housed in purpose built premises which include an administration block, kitchen, hall, nursery, reception area, paired and single teaching areas for infants and juniors. The School also provides for a growing number of physically disabled pupils who are fully integrated into all aspects of school life.
At Palmerston Primary School, we believe that every child has special needs and because of this every child is treated as an individual. We work in close partnership with the agencies responsible for the administration and support of children with special education needs and can offer much in this area of education.
The school has comprehensive schemes of work, and there are teachers with a specific interest for each subject area - Mathematics, Science, English, Design & Technology, Art, Welsh, Information Technology / Information and Communication Technology, PE, History, Geography PSHE, RE, Music and Special Educational Needs.

We have issued new Keeping Safe online guidance for primary learners, secondary learners, teachers, parents & carers and governors.
A wide range of age appropriate videos, activities and games split into different subject types. You will then have access to a range of age appropriate resources for your child to access.
