An excellent restaurant. 'Little' is a relative term; it is smaller than its sister restaurant (Pollen Street Social), but still big enough for groups (there were ten of us when we ate last week), as well as cosy tables for smaller numbers. Excellent food and wine - including a steak tartare, freshly caught fish and some very indulgent desserts.

Beautifully set restaurant, delicious food and attentive staff. What else would one want? Right! A cocktail list where each and every cocktail sounds like one of the drinks I would typically order, depending on which is the situation. I didn't manage to try all of them, so I guess I have to come back some day! We really had a great time.

I'd been wanting to try Little Social for a while. It's a chilled bistro style setting with just the right amount of bustle. The service was excellent, the fixed lunch is such good value for money and the wine list has a great selection of French wines at all price points. It was perfect for my business lunch.

Great food quality (particularly the pork rib chop main and the salmon starter), plan at least 90 minutes for lunch, this will not be quick meal. During weekday lunches, Little Social is a hub of busines meetings so be aware the atmosphere is somewhere between a stock exchange floor and an after-work pub with much better food.

I would class this in the 'this could get expensive' category of restaurants. The decor is wonderful and has a very art deco feel. The food lives up to, and often surpasses expectations.
The main menu stays with the same core of dishes with the main ingredients being swapped around depending on the season. If you do have the chance the poached egg starter and the roasted cod were our two highlights of the meal.
Go to 5 Social if you are looking for top quality food that makes some other similarly priced restaurants look sub-par. Perfect for meals for two, but also suitable for larger parties

On Christmas Eve, we ate at this cute restaurant tucked away on a side street just off of the busy and bustling Regent Street at the suggestion of our travel agent (who has eaten there many times).
I was immediately impressed by the warm decor and excellent choice of alternative music (past and present) playing.
The restaurant smelled lovely. Scents of spices permeated my nostrils and we received a warm welcome from our host.
The menu had a diverse and interesting array of choices. I appreciated it because there were choices to appeal to both the adventurous and non adventurous palates.

My husband and I ate at Little Social this evening. The hostess and our server were good. I ordered the pork. I ate about 3 bites. My husband tried one but had to spit it out because it was too fatty. I tried my hardest to cut the fat off but couldn't get a bite without a significant amount of fat. The server kindly noticed when he took my plate. I told him that the pieces I ate were excellent but I had too much trouble cutting around the fat to really eat much of it. He must've told a manager who came over and said the chef was examining it. She asked if we wanted dessert or coffee

One of my favorites in London. Perfect room and feel. Just enough cool. Great food and drink. Has never disappointed in 10+ visits.
Food
Meat always excellent. Burgers are a great indulgence. Salted butter with the bread is a treat.
Room
Dark, banquets, red, sexy, great music. Ambience really works.
Drink
Martini's are always well made. Wine list is extensive, with reasonable options.
Service
Always attentive a strong. Small room helps. Eye contact is always easy.

We went there quite a while back, and I was blown away by the outstanding service we received. We were seated right away (party of 4) and we're instantly treated to champagne by our sommelier.
We had several courses, each of which was better than the last, and the wine pairings were apt.
We finished with desert and desert wine - the apple tarte tatin was incredible.
We were able to meet the Head Chef, and it was a pleasure. I can't wait to go back here!!

Really delicious French food, slightly on the pricey side but everything is executed really well.
I've had dinner once with the girls and booked the area round the back, cosy for a group of 8 but such a lovely spread of steaks and French bistro dishes.
I came for lunch a month ago and has some delicious oysters with half lobster and fries. The portion wasn't huge but we did leave very filled to the brim.
Service is impeccable.

When I take my mother to visit my brother in the capital he has the unenviable task of deciding where to take her for lunch in the city (fussy is an understatement). After a successful trip to French restaurant Brasserie Zédel earlier in the year, he decided to stay with the French theme and booked a table at Jason Atherton's Little Social.
Little Social (as well as it's bigger, Michelin-starred older brother) is located on Pollen Street in Mayfair, and like you would expect from a Jason Atherton venture the outside is understated but sophisticated.

A pleasant little surprise...
Tucked on a tiny street behind Regent St. lies a culinary treat. Part of the Pollen Street Social restaurant across the road, this is the petit bistro extension of that though none the lesser. Really outstanding food in a Modern British meets French classics with a seasoning of the Mediterranean spin. Comfort food with pizazz if you will.
That style is reflected in the surroundings. First look it appears to be a traditional French bistro with dark wood paneling and plush banquets. But once you settle into your chair you will notice a bit of whimsy in details like

So after 2 visits to little social I would have to say it's not the best Atherton in town. Inside is a rustic French bistro ambience. Long and narrow room with some seats at the bar at the front. Cocktail listings quite nice with some interesting inventions. The negroni francais was excellent. Milder than a typical negroni with the bitterness toned down retaining all the flavour.
On the first visit I had the quail appetiser which was the star of all the dishes. Pieces of quail with foie gras that was perfect. Definitely worth going for this dish alone. We followed that up with the rib eye

Cute little French restaurant, we decided to come here for Burgerquest, and while everyone opted for the burger and fries, I decided to go for the lamb shank.
It looked very promising, but I thought it was too salty, and the meat was a bit on the tough side. It wasn't terrible, but I definitely have had better lamb shanks. I think this was the only time I felt a bit of regret and wish I ordered the burger instead!
On the other hand, I had a few sips of Ever the Diplomat, a coffee and espresso based cocktail and it was delicious! I usually hate coffee, but I couldn't put this

Little Social is an upscale dining establishment perfect for impressing your dinner companions. It's well suited to a bottle of wine and date night, or a business gathering. I stumbled upon Little Social from a rumor that the "new" best burger in London may be here.

The caramelized onions are also quite good and their flavors melt right in with the cheese. Add in some premium bacon and the

Our first taste of the Social brand was decent. They have Little Social, Social House, and Pollen Street Social all closely located near each other. Although Little Social is the cheaper of the three, they still have a classy ambiance with great service.
The burger was cooked just right and had a healthy serving of foie on top. The pork and truffle sausage was tasty but the dish in general lacked excitement. For dessert, we tried the crumble which is scooped straight out of the pot onto the ice cream plate. This sounds tasty but as a result the ice cream melts a bit too quickly.

The food is decent, which is why it gets two stars. But the reputation of this place is greater than the food. The menu is distinctively french traditional style, with maybe a hint of creativity. But for the prices you pay, its a bit pricey.
Don't go here if you're expecting some of the Pollen Street Social magic - because while it might be across the street and set up by the same head chef, it doesn't deliver.

I liked Little Social. Good love from the host, a nice crab, tomato and radish salad to start, a lovely cod main with pesto, and then a brown sugar tart for dessert. Service was good and the booth was private. Definitely has a French bistro overtone.
It is a great restaurant but something about it just felt a bit bland. I kind of felt like I had been there before--reminds me in a way of Wild Honey without the bar. Was hoping for a bit more character and originality, but all-in-all a well executed meal and service.
