Services
At Wendy Lane Vets we care for cats, dogs, rabbits and all other domestic pets. We have a main surgery in Rochdale and a branch in Littleborough. The practice is run by vet Phil Bareham, with a team of four vets, four nurses and numerous auxiliary nurses and receptionists. The veterinary surgery was established way back in 1962 when it was little more than a terraced house.
We are dedicated to offering a full range of services for all of your pets' needs in our modern, well equipped surgeries. If your pet does get ill, don't worry - we are here to help. We treat pets for all ailments ranging from cuts and colds up to highly advanced medical care and surgery.
At Wendy Lane Vets we ensure that all of our vets and nurses are highly trained to deal with any problem and we have strong links to a network of specialist and referral centres if this service is required. There are very few diagnostics or surgeries that we cannot do right here at the surgery.

We are regularly inspected by our governing body, The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to ensure that we offer a high standard of care. This is a voluntary system so not all vets are accredited but we believe it is important as it means we can demonstrate to our owners that we are up to date and delivering a high standard of care.
We believe it is important that prospective and existing clients can leave feedback and reviews about us. We also recognize the importance of having independent reviews about the surgery. For this reason we have teamed up with the Good Vet Guide to manage our online reviews. The reviews can be accessed via the link on our home page.

I got a phone call on Friday my cat had a car accident and died from the animal sanctuary where the cat was chipped to. I was told to collect the body from Wendy Lane Vets so first thing on Sarurday morning I was their in the car park. I phoned the place only to be lied to was told no cat has been bought in and their is no dead cat. So I mentioned I got a call late Friday afternoon and was told to collect the body from here and someone the public or the person who ran the cat over bought in the cat. But was told the same again no cat here I guess it was the manager. I called up at the sanctuary

We recently (during lockdown) took our choc Labrador Ozzy to see one of the RVN’s as one of his nails had torn at the nail bed. The nurse came out and took Ozzy from me, who happily trotted inside with her. A few minutes later, he was brought back out to the car. The nail had been successfully removed, pain meds prescribed and a very happy family. Even more so with the excellent value for money. Thank you so much!
