Services
If the animal is injured report the situation to the RSPCA by ringing 0300 1234 999 they will log your details and advise you on the appropriate course of action. If the animal is not injured leave it where it is and do not feed it. At the surgery we are able to check animals for microchips, as is the local dog warden to try and reunite pets with their owners.

All clients are advised to take out a LIFETIME pet health insurance policy. Most insurance companies now offer a lifetime policy for your pet, that you can rely on to provide value for money and lifetime protection against the costs of unexpected veterinary bills. In the event of a sudden illness or accident veterinary fees can run into hundreds, in severe cases thousands of pounds, which can increase stress in an already worrying situation.

I brought my Cat in last night. Before I brought her in I spoke to a lovely lady who really reassured me and gave me an appointment to suit my need at the time. When I arrived, the reception staff were pleasant, friendly and frequently informed me that I wouldn’t be long, and despite them having an emergency, my cat was seen, treated and on our way home within in hour. They reassured me when I was worried sick. Thank you for your professionalism and care towards us both, I’ll be forever grateful.

Critical: Value
Charged 210 to put a rabbit to sleep after being told 120,when it came to paying other fees had been added on eg not being registered with them etc.I don't agree with the extra cost just because its after 6pm or a weekend.Dont animals get ill at all hours.Really is a kick in the teeth on top of losing a pet.

Critical: Professionalism
Horrendous service. My daughter is distraught at the way her puppy has been mistreated. He and her are still shaking. The receptionists main priority was to complain between them selves about another patient anting to complain! How this “practice “ still has a license is beyond belief. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE

I've been to Armac today with my beautiful boy who was very sick. He unfortunately had to go over rainbow bridge. The vet and staff were exceptional, they treated both me and my boy with such kindness and compassion. I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much for what you did today. Joanne and Elvis the Rottie.

Really impressed with the experience as a whole. I visited the emergency out of hours with my Spitz and we were given an appointment very quickly. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly and easy to talk to. The vet did a full check up of my dog and whilst we were bracing ourselves for the price of the out of hours service it was actually all very reasonable. The vet and the vet nurses were very patient and kind with my dog, she is difficult to handle considering her size but they were wonderful with her. Thank you, you put a very over protective dog mum at ease 😅 x

Absolutely incredible! We had to take our GSD here today for an emergency c-section and I cannot fault the professionalism of all the staff. From the initial phone call to the picking up of our lady later in the day, they were calming and super professional. Thank you all so much! Hopefully we won't need to use you again but if we ever do need an emergency vet again, you will be our first choice!
