Terrible experience. I got recommended this vets as they are a not for profit and are open for emergencies. We called for a quote on a C section for our french bulldog, which was affordable and said to call when she is in labour.
Our dog went into labour and needed to be seen in an emergency as a puppy was a stuck, so we called this vets as planned. Bolton answered the phone and said that they were shut due to staff absence and covid. They said to call the Ellesmere Port branch which was further, but they could help us. The vet said it was an "emergency and needed to be seen straight away".

Phoned up tonight over dog being poorly but they were rude on the phone and hung up on my daughter and son in law saying it wasn't an emergency they have 6 dog's and a parrot and have spent thousands with them look at the photos and you be the judge !! Had to rush to another vet which kept her in they think it's a burst ulcer their dog is poorly and to be told it's not an emergency com'on it's not on to be spoken to like that it's meant to be a animal hospital 😡 they were so scared for the dog
Sorry for the photos I thought you can see them and judge for yourself what would you do in a situation

TPLO Surgery - My German Shepherd completed ruptured her Crucial Ligament in her hind leg. I cant thank Vlad the Vet Surgeon and the Vet Nurses enough. Dropped Lottie off at 8.30am and she had already had her surgery by 10.45am. The Vet was very professional and explained the operation fully. Lottie had first class care, communication was brilliant throughout with an update Call from Vlad and the nurses. All medication that was prescribed was all included in the operation fee. I was very impressed and could not ask for a better service. Thanks for taking such good care of Lottie & if her other

Recently taken my dog Piper to be spayed. Excellent service and care beforehand when dropping Piper off. Kept updated during the day to inform me that the operation had taken place and everything was fine. Smooth and efficient pick up later in the day with aftercare information provided. Really pleased with the service and care provided.

Had a consultation booked for 11.30 13.10.21. Thinking we had given ourselves time to get there traveling from Barnsley we set off 9.15 am. Due to lots and lots of roadworks and traffic in general we were running about10 minutes late. I rang to let them know. It was 12.05 when we did arrive. . There were 2 assistants at the desk. One was very nice the other quite stern. The nice lady was going I think to see if we could be seen when the vets returned from lunch because of how far we had travelled. The other person just kept saying no to anything mentioned. Obviously I was upset and greatly annoyed

I took my darling cat Daisy in on Tuesday for what I thought was going to be a scan but, following a detailed consultation with the vet became Euthanasia. The vet was absolutely brilliant, he didn’t rush me at all and was really caring and gentle with Daisy even when she had passed away. Thank you guys.

I had to take my dog to this practice as my usual one at Failsworth had closed for the day. My elderly dog had become quite poorly over the day and I needed to see a vet that day. It took me a while to get through on the phone but that's expected, I was told to bring her in as an emergency. Unfortunately the outcome was not the best news but myself and my dog were treated with compassion and dignity I was given plenty of time to say my goodbyes. My dog was 16 years old. It was even agreed for my dogs ashes to be returned to my local practice as its pretty far for me. Everyone I come into contact

Have visited this vets a couple of times now when I can't get into my local branch. Today's visit was similar to previous. Good premises, decent sized car park, large spacious waiting room. Covid procedures in place, masks worn. Vet was lovely, very reassuring and I felt very comfortable with how she questioned me, then examined my dog, diagnosed and prescribed the medicine. Hopefully her condition will start to clear up now and she will be recovering quickly, fingers crossed.
