We are a two site small animal practice based in Bury and Bolton, first established in 2004. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of vet surgeons and nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, both our Tottington and Harwood practices are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.

To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.
Services
Pennine Vets first opened in 2004 and has been at the heart of the Tottington and then Harwood community ever since. Both sites offer appointments Monday through to Saturday and have a dedicated out of hours provider for those unfortunate emergencies. Our team of vets are happy to meet you and your family members whether they be fluffy or scaly, Pennine Vets welcomes exotic pets such as bearded dragons, birds and tortoises.
Here at Pennine Vets, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your local surgery and you will be advised what to do next. If you require veterinary attention or advice during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact MiNightVet Manchester on 0161 794 4999. MiNightVet Manchester is our preferred emergency services partner.
We are always pleased to receive your feedback and constantly aim to provide a high-quality service, so if you have any compliments or suggestions on how we can improve, we would like to hear from you. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Great service, saw my kitty on the same day and referral came through for an opthalmologist within a few days who then took over.

I have always used Pennine vets but am so disappointed with the service I have experienced since it was taken over. It is impossible to get an appointment at the moment and on a recent visit had to wait 40 minutes past my appointment time with a very stressed cat in a waiting room full of barking dogs. I agree with other comments on here that the practice is more concerned with making money than caring for our pets and I would not recommend to anyone. I will be registering at another practice as soon as possible

I can not thank the wonderful caring staff at Pennine vets enough for their genuine empathy for the passing of my beautiful boy Archie. They took care of everything and even got paw prints for me and my family to remember him. Thank you so much for all the love and care and everything you do x

Having been a customer of the practice for many years I have always found the service of excellent quality which is only what I would expect from anyone in a caring role such as this. What I wasn't expecting after missing my cats booster due to the pandemic, was the incredibly hefty quote for a re-vaccination having to have both 1st and second jabs I appreciate this has to be performed however on receiving the news of what would be approximately £210 for the package I searched around...interestingly demographic areas must play a huge part in the hike in price that pennine are asking as only down
