Our Pre-School was established in 2001 and was renamed as Petts Wood East Pre-School. It is one of the oldest Pre-Schools in the village, established over 50 years ago. It was taken over by Kathy Hardy, whose background is in Paediatric Nursing, but now dedicates her time to working with children, as a qualified Early Years Teacher.
We are pleased to announce the achievement of our 'Good' Ofsted judgement. We also have a sister Pre-School, Southborough Pre-School, which is located on the Southborough Primary School site. We continue to strive to maintain a high quality care and education in both of our settings. We are proud that both settings have achieved the Millie's Mark Accreditation.

It is our ultimate aim to provide a safe, healthy, happy, stimulating and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, enabling them to develop to their full potential by learning through play. Petts Wood East Pre-School is owned by Kathy Hardy. Her background is in Paediatric Nursing and she is also a qualified Early Years Professional.
Welcome to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is how the Government and early years professionals describe the time in your child's life between birth and age 5. This is a very important stage as it helps your child get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes.
