Young children who attend Lilly Brook Childcare are welcomed into an environment that supports a sense of wellbeing and provides sense of belonging. All activities are carefully designed to adequately nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of the children's interests. Cultural capital is seen as the collection of socially acquired skills such as knowledge, behaviours, and aspects of learned characteristics that demonstrate one's social identity and placement within society. Different groups of people have access to different sources and forms of knowledge, depending on other variables like race, class, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, nationality, religion, and even age.
Here you will find our policies and procedures. If you have any suggestions or amendments you feel should be made we review all policies Annually and more frequently when required. This pre school is brilliant! My eldest son attended for 2 years - he was very happy and progressed in so many ways whilst at Lily Brook, because of the support and excellent care he received. The staff have a great bond with the children and a lot of thought goes into the layout of the setting and activities on offer.
Even though my eldest is now at school, he still misses his pre school. My youngest son is now loving his time there. In my opinion you won’t find a better setting than Lily Brook.
