We are open Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 12.30pm during Bromley term time, and also offer two extended sessions a week. These sessions include both lunch and school skills and are very popular both with the children and parents. There is an additional cost for this. Our aim is to provide a stimulating and happy atmosphere where children feel safe, cared for and supported in their first steps away from home.
We help children through support and encouragement, to develop the self-confidence they need to act independently, with good manners and thoughtfulness towards others. We are based at Christ Church Chislehurst where we have a bright and spacious hall with additional carpeted rooms which we use for small group work, quieter activities and also physical activities.

Services
Our aim is to prepare your child both socially and educationally for primary school, and hope that when the time comes they will join their new school with confidence. We create a stimulating environment where children are able to gain language for communication and thinking and use their skills to find solutions to problems tackle new challenges and increase their sustained shared thinking.
This half term we are going to spend sometime learning about ourselves, starting off by exploring some of the children's favourite things - what they like playing with, where they like to go and what are their favourite stories. The children will paint their own portrait and then be able to look at similarities and differences.
Our daughter Honor has been at Pals for nearly two years and truly loves it! She has always been a confident child but has genuinely thrived so much since attending Pals- this both myself and my partner feel is down to Teresa and her team. Honor's key worker Janet, who she was placed with when she first started, has always made us feel at ease when leaving her in the beginning and now nearly two years on Honor still speaks so fondly of her.
At Pals we recognise that all children are unique and provide a warm welcome to all. We work closely with outside agencies welcoming visits and using any shared information to support children within the setting. We also liaise with our Area SENCo team who offer invaluable support and advice. Our building is wheelchair friendly and we have a disabled toilet.
