At St Mary's Pre-school we are dedicated to creating a safe, stimulating and happy environment that inspires and encourages every child's individuality to blossom and grow, enabling them to become happy, inquisitive and confident children. We constantly challenge children to explore, learn and progress by offering a rich and varied range of exciting activities developed through passionate planning with the backing of a strong team of enthusiastic staff working with the parents and carers.

We have played in our pre-school Construction site, Baby clinic, Band, Puppet theatre and Laundry. We have explored and played with chick peas and lentils, soil with insects, pasta threading and rainbow rice. We have played with trains, cars, the village, toot toot, animas, duplo, the castle and we made playdough.
We have played with trains, cars, peppa pig, puzzles, playdough, meccano and many other toys. We have danced to cd songs with ribbons, played with musical instruments and with the parachutes. Outside, we have played on trikes and scooters, practised our balancing skills, played football and basketball and caught bubbles.
On Friday we said goodbye to all of our leavers, we enjoyed a fun morning with all of our favourite activities, a picnic, Gruffalo hunt and of course - musical chairs!. We wish the children leaving us the best of luck in their new schools and their future, and hope to see you all out and about. We wish you all a wonderful summer and look forward to welcoming back the younger children in September.
We have played in our pre-school Farm, fishing camp, Construction site, large boxes using our imagination and hair salon. We have played the animal farm game, taken part in wellie throwing, played the sounds game and the leavers practised getting changed into their PE kits. On Tuesday we harvested the potatoes that we planted in April, washed, cooked and ate them.
