The Bell is a historic free house and music pub on the edge of Bath city centre: it is owned by around 500 of its customers, fans and workers under IPS CoOperative rules. We stock seven real ales plus two guest ales. We are in the Guardian and Observer guides to summer pubs as well as the Lonely Planet, Rough Guide, the Good Beer Guide and Le Guide du Routard.
For your amusement we have table football, bar billiards (Mon - Weds), Pool, chess, backgammon, free wi-fi, a real fire and even a launderette! The Bell Inn is a Living Wage employer accredited by The Living Wage Foundation. The real Living Wage is based on the cost of living and is voluntarily paid by 3,500 UK employers who believe a fair day's work deserves a fair day's pay.

Services
The Bell has free live music three to four times a week (Monday, every other Tuesday and Wednesday from 9pm and Sunday lunchtimes from 1pm) ranging from jazz to blues to folk to roots to some things we are not sure what to call. The Funky Fems rule: Ruth, Sophie, Emma and Lisa are at the heart of so many of our favourite bands that their own thang was bound to be utterly groovetastic.
There is a small bar that can be made available, sound engineers for hire and even a piano for your use. We recommend The Pizza Bike if you are looking to have food available at your (Note: you will have to contact and arrange things with the Pizza Bike personally, the Bell is unable to book these for you).

Split mind on this place, liked the pub altho a little pricey and for it being pricy the fixtures are not great, there damage or worn all over the place.
After speaking with locals was advised its owned by locals that are shareholders and saved it, well saving the pub is great but after that you need to spend to keep it in good repair especially when your charging high for the drinks.
Fantasic place will also come back but would like to see it fixed.
