Sitting on the decking in the quiet garden, surrounded by birdsong & beautiful countryside, we feasted on pork belly bites & halloumi fries. The entire meal was delicious; the staff were efficient & welcoming & we felt very well looked after but not hurried.

We held my sisters baby shower here and had a fantastic afternoon. Staff have been super friendly and helpful since we first enquired. Food was really good quality and the pantry was a perfect location for the number of people we hosted for. My only feedback would be for more variety with the food as part of the menu but other than that really great time. Thank you!

Great time. Booked a table for six in the bar area as wanted to have a bit of time for a drink and a chat before ordering food. Never felt rushed, food was great, drinks were awesome and service was always polite and attentive.
Felt very well looked after in this lovely pub. Definitely going back soon.

5 star food and 5 star service . Gave a four as it was very cold where we were sitting and then someone brought a stinky dog in and sat about 10 feet away. As a non dog lover not my ideal Saturday Night . But the girls who were serving us were fantastic and the food was all fantastic. Won't be going again due to the dog factor.

Excellent burger and fries as well as ales, best I've had for years and highly recommended. Staff were excellent and atmosphere as well as social distancing with seating arrangements. 5* would have been given but it was a little cold in the bar with the potential of sleet etc outside.Will visit again.

A wonderful pub with great spaces. We had a party of 12 and were lucky enough to have our own area, very helpful with children and a dog. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, nothing was too difficult and everything was done with a smile. The food was good with decent choices for vegetarians/vegans, and was good value.

Lovely pub, very good service and friendly staff. I had chicken but the menu description sounded more delicious than the meal I’m afraid. Presentation was good and the chicken was good, but there wasn’t enough colour/veg. Two small pieces of kale was not enough. Make it three and add a few slices of carrot for colour. However, I look forward to going back for Sunday lunch next time.

A lovely visit for Sunday Lunch yesterday. Food was all delicious and arrived piping hot! Staff were great and very attentive, even though there were several challenging customers. Professionalism remained throughout our visit. Only slightly minor negative was that the drinks were quite slow coming out, but we weren't in a rush so not an issue. It… was also lovely to use the Ski lodge following our meal. May be worth investing in a payment system which would allow us to add a top while paying. I don't carry cash but I would have liked to leave a tip. Great job all, can't wait to visit again

Charming little pub off the beaten path with decent food and lovely staff. The fig and burrata starter was very nicely done! But avoid the seats by the back - they are very obviously near the toilet. Management should try to do something to subdue the lingering smell. We would have otherwise rated this 5 star.

Another excellent meal at one of our favourite pubs for lunch. Staff and owners lovely as always. After sharing belly pork bites, I had the special which was pork tenderloin, dauphinoise, wild mushroom, leek and black pudding fricassee... delicious. We left pleasantly stuffed and with money still in the wallet!

A very special place. I was looking for some pub that’s in the country near Bristol and decided to try The Bull.
We had a starter with crispy pork belly, it’s very tasty 😋
Mains were well presented and the flavours were on point! I had a chicken salad, the meat was juicy and it’s just refreshing and filling! 👍🏻
Palatable, we’ll come back again!!
