The Glan Yr Afon/Riverside is a family run country pub;. We are Glyn & Corina Owen-Davies, we have been running the Glan Yr Afon for the last 11 years whilst raising our Children Dylan & Mari along side running our Guesthouse Llety Brynawel. We very much lean towards being a busy food led pub serving good quality freshly cooked pub grub.
We want the Glan Yr Afon/ Riverside to be a place where everybody is made to feel welcome whether it be for a quick pint or meeting with friends and family for a Sunday luncheon or dinner. Our restaurant is split into 3 different areas the main restaurant which can seat around 40 persons, our garden room overlooking the Garden which can seat 24 persons & the Cwtch which can seat 12 persons.

Services
All food is freshly prepared on the premises by our team of chefs who only use the best quality meat, fish and vegetables sourced locally. Our bar is open daily from 4pm Tuesday -Friday (main Season, Wednesday- Friday off season) from 3pm Saturday's, from 12noon Sunday's. You are welcome to enjoy a drink in our bar & lounge seating areas's or outside in our large beer garden.

Absolutely outstanding Sunday lunch! We visited on an extremely wet and windy Sunday afternoon, the pub was warm and cosy inside, the staff very welcoming. The place was very busy and we didn't get our table (booked for 2:30) til 3pm this was no problem, we had a drink in the bar and ordered our food there.
And what food, a Sunday lunch to rival some of the best we've had out. Everything was well cooked and full of flavour, beef was especially delicious.
As with the main desserts were wonderful, special mention to the excellent cheeseboard 3 really nice cheeses, a very nice chutney and plenty
