Very nice restaurant, the decor is lovely. Staff are very welcoming and ready to offer their expertise on the dishes. There is quite an extensive choice and lots that we hadn't seen before, the food was lovely and tasty and we will definitely return to try a few more dishes.

I was going to visit this restaurant a few weeks ago, after an online search for an Asian restaurant on Newtown but never received a reply to my message enquiry made from their website, really disappointing so I booked Bahar restaurant instead as I received a prompt response and so this had given me confidence in their service and had great evening..

Whilst staying in Newtown on holiday we visited Gulshan. We were warmly greeted and shown to a table dressed with linen cloths and napkins. There was a well stocked bar and extensive menu. The food that we… chose was delicious and piping hot. Despite being busy , one of the proprietors still had time for a brief chat to pass the time of day. The restaurant was air conditioned which was very welcome on the Evening of our visit as it was a very warm evening.

Excellent food and friendly helpful service. We had a 4 month old in a pram and that was no bother for them. Will definitely be going back again.
