Park Primary School
Teaching and Learning is the core purpose of our school. We offer a broad, balanced, relevant and stimulating curriculum that is supported by the latest advances in technology and expanded by pupil's questions. Our curriculum evolves to meet the needs of our children ensuring that they achieve their maximum potential.

At Park, we work closely with each child's family as partners in their child's learning, celebrating achievements and milestones and ensuring each and every child meets their full potential. At Park, we work with members of our school community encouraging our pupils to show respect and understand the different communities in our world today.
Services
At Park Primary, our high-quality history curriculum aims to inspire pupils' curiosity of the past. Children gain knowledge and understanding of both Britain's past and that of the wider world. We aim to bring the past to life through high-quality trips, visitors and exploring a range of artefacts, which enrich and deepen children's knowledge and understanding of the past.
Through exploration of the various headings we encourage our pupils to respect themselves and each other, build their knowledge of other faiths and our law system in the UK, teach them to tolerate and appreciate our society, take responsibility for their role in school and give them the skills to raise their self-confidence and self-esteem.
At Park Primary School we encourage good attendance as it is key to your child making educational progress and developing positive social skills. We consider good attendance to be over 98% and satisfactory attendance to be over 95%. Does your child have a contagious condition that could be passed on to other children or school staff?
The Pupil Premium is funding provided to school which is additional to main school funding. Schools can decide how the Pupil Premium is spent, however schools are accountable for how they have used the additional funding to support pupils from low income families.

The Governing Body and Leadership Team of the school are accountable for ensuring that the resources allocated through the Pupil Premium Grant have an impact on pupils' educational standards and achievement.Have been eligible for Free School Meals at any point during their time in primary education.
Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Everyone has a responsibility to ensure that children at Park Primary are safe. We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, some of which can be found below.
