At Lingham Primary we do our utmost to make every child and adult feel that they are an important part of our school. Services
At Lingham Primary School we want our curriculum to inspire our learners and foster a real love of learning. Through our history curriculum we want to inspie pupils' curiosity in the past. We want to equip pupils to ask perceptive questions, to think critically and to consider evidence carefully. With these aims in mind, we have selected an innovative global curriculum called ' Learning Means the World'.
We are so proud of how you have all been coping during this lockdown, here are some links that might keep you busy alongside our online learning available on Google Classroom. The room is self contained and has it's own entrance and outdoor area as well as a pram store for parents to be able to leave their prams on the premises.
Our theme for this half-term is 'Happily Ever After'. The theme has a communication focus where we will be reading a range of traditional tales. We will be designing a bag for a fairy, using clay to make a jewellery pot for Cinderella and learning about the habitat and life cycles of different animals.
We have got lots of new things to learn together this term. We will learn all about different types of communication, the continents and all about some famous people. If our bubble pops, you will still have access to all the work that has been set on School Spider, as well as the online resources. If you cannot access School Spider don't worry we will have a paper pack waiting for you.
Our theme for this half-term is A World of Difference where we will be exploring the religions of: Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism. Please see our half-term overview for details. Don't forget to keep working through the different titles on Times Tables Rockstars and earning as many coins as possible!
