St Josephs R C Primary School
On behalf of everybody at St. Joseph's I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome. I hope you find this website useful, especially if you are new parents, to tell you all about life at our school. At St Joseph's, everything we do is rooted in our Catholic beliefs; at our heart is our Mission to live the words of Jesus - 'To Love One Another'.

Our school is a place where faith, values, learning and creativity come together as one. Our Vision is set by following the example given by our Patron Saint - Saint Joseph. Contained in this website you will find lots of information all about us; our policies, our vision, your child's education.
Services
We are an above average sized, two form Primary school with approximately 400 children on roll, plus an additional 26 places in Nursery. We have a very good staff to pupil ratio, employing teachers, teaching assistants, support staff as well as buying in the services of specialists, for example sports coaches.
We have time daily to reflect about our beliefs and to talk to God and actively participate in Worship. We have the opportunity to be the best version of ourselves; to thrive and develop our own skills, interests and passions. We are introduced to the best that has been thought and said and are helped to engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement.
Please save to your favourites and check regularly for updates. Parent View Survey - During Parents Evenings, we asked you to complete a brief survey using the Ofsted questions from Parent view. It is important you make yourself aware of our expectations, systems and processes regarding pupil behaviour.
As a Catholic School, Christ is at the center of all we do. Our curriculum, Mission Statement, values and beliefs all flow from this center point of God, so that the children grow, learn, achieve and develop spiritually as well as academically. At St Joseph's our Catholic character is centered upon Gospel Values and the children and staff alike strive to make the knowledge and love of God part of everyday life.
Governors are people who wish to make a positive contribution to the school and the education of its children. They will contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the school and have an effective input toward the educational achievements of its pupils. In a Catholic school, the governors have extra responsibilities.
